Dr John the pharmacist he reminds me the kind caring human still exists. I had an expensive medicine prescribed by my doctor. Dr John found out there was major drug interaction with my other medication. He right away called my doctor and my doctor switched it over to inexpensive, safe medication that save my life as well as my pocket. I am extremely happy with the service I received in this pharmacy.

This is the best pharmacy I have ever had the privilege to be a customer to. Emily is incredible, her customer service and attention to details is far above what I ever thought I'd find. And it's not just her, the whole staff is welcoming. Every time I have called there a friendly and kind voice greets me. Thank you guys so much. I'll miss you now that I have moved out of state.

Worst pharmacy in the Los Angeles area in my opinion. He is a price gouger and will not accept insurance for some medications. The day before I called and asked for a medication. I was told they have it. I called to confirm the following day. The Pharmacist (owner?) asked if I had used their pharmacy in the past. I said yes and had gotten a prescription filled in the past. I now remember how this man charged me “full out of pocket” price back then. He acknowledged that he had the medication for today but it was very limited. He said I would need to pay “full out of pocket” price. No insurance for medication. My insurance covers every medication including this one! Do not used this pharmacy even though it is in a medical building and convienient!

The pharmacy delayed the selling of the medication till the very last moment, and did not tell us about refusing insurance at the moment of initial order. The medication was rare but covered by insurance. The difference from the regular one is that it is in a liquid form. The pharmacy was supposed just to smash the tablets and add regular liquid in the right proportion. The pharmacy did not accept my valid insurance last moment, when medicine was really needed, and asked to pay the full price, more than $200. As a result we bought the solid form medication at a regular pharmacy for $3 and smashed it ourselves. The owner of the pharmacy explicitly told that the reason for refusal was that he does not agree with insurance coverage price. The difference between insurance coverage and his price was just about $10. Having that the drug is regulated, I would prefer to know in advance that the pharmacy do not accept insurance, which was not told till the last moment.

This pharmacy is not only fast at filling prescriptions but the workers here are so welcoming and kind. I had a prescription sent down to this pharmacy from my physician but I had never been there before. I called and asked if I can pick up the prescription but since it was my first time, I had to provide my insurance information so they can process the drug. They told me that I can give the insurance codes over the phone so that I can just come to the pharmacy in 20 minutes and it’ll be ready. I did just that and I was in and out of the pharmacy in less than 5 minutes so I don’t have to pay for parking (15 minutes grace period). They really accommodate for you so you don’t have to go through any hassle. Will be getting all my prescriptions here now! And they deliver!!

Asked my Dr. to send my prescription here because of the close proximity to my office. After a few days, I called to confirm that the prescription was ready. Not only was it not ready but I was asked a lot of questions about my insurance, which I never had to do before. Ever.

Contacted my Dr. and was told his lead nurse would handle it. Called Plaza Pharmacy again and only after proving still more information was the prescription filled. But when i went to pick it up, the pharmacist asked for full price (more than $120) for the generic drug (which I previously paid $3).

I left frustrated and angry. Reached out to my insurance provider who said that there was a misunderstanding and that if only the pharmacist had made a phone call, everything could have been resolved in one minute. Instead, she sent me away confused and empty handed. My provide called the Plaza Pharmacy again on my behalf, but I elected not to go back. There are far too many pharmacies that are more compassionate that this place. I would avoid returning here unless I was in an emergency situation.

This pharmacy is amazing! The two
Pharmacists are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products! The wait time is never longer than about 10 maybe 15 mins maximum which is always a plus since the only parking available is underground and it is expensive! This pharmacy delivers anywhere you ask them to, I used to have them deliver all the way to downtown Pasadena and have had them deliver to palM springs a few times and every time everything was perfect!
GREAT PHARMACY!! If you’re thinking of switching, you will not regret it and you’ll never go back to a cvs/Walgreens type of chain pharmacy again!

I'm not one to write reviews, but my experience here has been so great that I felt like I had to put a quick word in! Like others said, the service is really fast and the pharmacists are accommodating and friendly. They will remember you. Also, they deliver which is super convenient!
