Don’t usually write reviews but going to take the time to point out a few things that lead me to find a new physical therapist today. I have worked with Danika at this physical therapy spot for almost a year. She worked on my knee. I had back surgery recently and wanted to continue with Danika. Waited months for an apt. Finally show up today mind you I was 15 minutes late. The woman at the front desk basically turned me away, when I pleaded I needed the apt she’s like here fill out this first time patient form. I was like I’ve been going here for a year why do I need to fill this out? I was then told Danika wouldn’t be able to help me today but I can fill out the form. I said thanks but no thanks. Made me feel completely forgot about and now I have to wait even longer to have my back worked on. I would rather do that then work with these guys again. Very disrespectful rude. It was like it was my first time. Very upset and this is the problem with healthcare today. Hopefully this review gets to the right person and they take the time to help instead of trying to turn away

I like the physical therapy department and orthopedic doctor that repaired my back. Dr. O'Hare in both departments they really listen to you

Very knowledgeable therapists to work with. I had a bad Sciatic nerve problem and could not get around very well. They had me back to normal in a month. Even after the first set of exercises, I was getting around so much better. If you don't mind doing some exercise, this is the place to learn the proper exercises to get you back on your feet.

Have seen Dr O’Hara for years for neck pain. Have done RF for years till it wasn’t working anymore. Dr O’Hara just did a neck fusion C4-C7 with C5 replacement and spacers for proper spacing of discs. THIS DOCTOR IS AMAZING. The staff made the process of the pre-op procedures very easy. The doctors at South Bay Ortho have surrounded themselves with an amazing staff. If you’re on the fence with back or neck pain highly highly recommend you see Dr O’Hara!!! There’s not enough stars for my appreciation!!!

I had major back surgery from Dr. OHara in August. Pre-surgery, his explanations and detailed justifications for the surgery were clear and comprehensive. The surgery went well, and his follow-up care has been excellent.

This place is horrible. Be prepared to wait forever. Arrived 30 minutes before our first appointment, called 45 minutes after our appointment time. Learned our lesson and arrived 5 minutes before our second appointment. 45 minutes later, after seeing at least 10 others called to the back, we followed up with the front desk only to learn that they never checked us in. Funniest thing about it, is we were sitting directly in front of the receptionist the entire time. Way to check on your patients. Amazing customer service. Not!

I dont know where to start,

I called last week after finding Dr Badday online. I spoke with Tawnee, a receptionist. I explained to her as follows--- Ive been taking my grandma to an orthopedist for the last 2 months.. She had xrays, mri and local nerve blockers performed. The doctor prescribed an epidural. The doctor whom we were referred to takes a long time to call back and even a longer wait to perform the epidural.....

I told her tht we need an EPIDURAL ASAP. She asked for the mri and insurance info which was promptly provided. This was last friday. She called me back on monday morning, telling me that Dr badday can take us for an appointment on 3/3/16, which is today at noon.

We arrived at dr baddays office on wilshire blvd. At first the receptionists told us we dont have an appt. After giving them the last name they found the appointment,....

This is where it gets disgusting----They tell us tht the appt is for a consultation. Consultation? I clearly explained tht we need an epidural done asap. We have all the records from the orthopedist, the mri from the imaging place along with all of her xrays and treatments performed... Why do we need another consultation? My guess is to bill medicare twice instead of once...

Why give me an appt for a consultation when i clearly explained tht we need an epidural. I have the prescription for an epidural in hand?: This is just outrageous...

This is would be akin to--- I get a medication prescribed by Dr. X.. I take it to the Local Pharmacy... They ask me, "what dr prescribed this?" I say, "Dr X"... They say--" oh well we work with dr. y... so u are going to have to go see Dr Y and if he agrees with Dr X's prescription then we will fill it.... "

This is exactly what these people tried to do to us today...

The manager at south bay called me to say they are sorry and tht it was due to miscommunication. Im sorry, but i speak the english language fairly well. The person whom i talked with spoke english very well too...
Where is the miscommunication? This is a scam... A way for dr badday to bill 2 visits instead of 1...

Question--- How exactly is dr badday going to have a better understanding of my grandmas condition based on the 5-10 min consultation then her orthopedist who has been seeing her for 2 months

This is unacceptable and downright disturbing tht health care has become such a racket. These 'doctors' are nothing more than businessmen. They dont care tht my grandma now has to wait another week in agony to get her epidural...

To add insult to injury, the doctor whom we referred to was actually going to be able to take us today 2pm. But since i was told tht Dr Badday would perform the epidural today i figured i would keep my promise and appt to g with dr badday.

What is wrong with you people? You should not have become docotrs You should have been bankers, corporate ceo's, etc. because most of you medical professionals could care less abt your patients. All you care abt is money. Im willing to bet not ONE of your so called doctors can even recite the first 2 sentences of the hippocratic oath. You know, the oath all of u took to put ur patients health as 1st priority.To not make ur patients suffer unnecessarily...

p.s. We walked into this dingy, dirty office that i can only describe as a pill mill. Its just a room with nothing in it accept a prescription specialist. Its a pain clinic if u havent guessed by now...

The place doesnt even have the equipment nor staff to perform an epidural... Even though i explained to Tawnee tht driving to torrance is too far for us since we live in the valley, she still sent us to this dr badday on wilshire, which means if we wopuld have done the consultation today, then we would have to go all the way to torrance to get it performed..

That is quite a bit of miscommunication for a medical facility , dont you think?

They don’t answer the phone for 20 minutes then you’re not speaking to the office but a call center. It takes 4 days for someone to get back to you, all the while you are in pain, then the doctor says to pick an appliance up at the desk but when you show up nobody knows anything and the doctor made no arrangements for anything. If you can, go elsewhere.
